Do you need a Simple Handmade Sympathy Card? Check out this Sympathy Card using the Quit Meadow Stamp Set and Stampin’ Blends. Hopefully you’ll use this idea for your next simple Handmade Sympathy Card Project.
The mother of a dear friend, passed away suddenly, so I wanted to make a simple handmade Sympathy Card. I used Stampin’ Blends to add Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow colours.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Fold the Mossy Meadow CS in half and crease it using a Bone Folder. The fold should be along the left hand side.
- Adhere the Highland Heather CS to the Mossy Meadow Card Base using Stampin’ Seal.
- Ink up the Flowers and Stems using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp onto the Basic White CS. I coloured the Larger Flowers using the Fine Tip end of the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends and the Buds using Fine Tip end of the Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. For the Stems and the Leaves I used Fine Tip end of the Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. If you colour outside the lines, no worries…that is what the Color Lifter is for. Swipe it over the section that you want to remove. Let it dry. Repeat if necessary. Adhere the stamped Basic White CS to the Card Front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ink up the “With Heartfelt Sympathy” sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set using Highland Heather Ink. Cut it out using the pretty frame from the Meadow Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere the sentiment layer onto the Card Front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- We can’t forget to adhere the Brushed Brass Butterfly. Pick it up using the Take Your Pick – Piercer End OR Spatula End and adhere it to the Card Front.
- All you have to do is sign it. One of my favourite saying is “You are in my Thought and Prayers”
