Cute and Quick Halloween Trick or Treat Bag

Want to make a quick Halloween Trick or Treat Bag and don’t know where to start?

A Quick Halloween Trick or Treat Bag It features a Ghost, a Haunted House, a Moon and the word Boo made with dies from Stampin' Up!.

I always create a quick Halloween Trick or Treat bag to hand out to all the little “creatures” who come to my door. For this year’s adorable Halloween goodie bag I’m using the Trick or Treat Bundle (62226) and Stampin’ Up Cut & Emboss Machine. And instead of regular tape, I’m using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755) to adhere the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock to the Lunch Bag. I wanted a little bit of extra security because I will be stuffing them with a lot of treats and I don’t want the decoration to come off.

You don’t have time to make them this year? No problem. Change the stamps, supplies and theme. You’ll have a treat bag for Christmas, Easter or to give a birthday gift. Just follow the basic design – background panel, die cut embellishments, sentiment – and you can have a versatile idea you can use over and over.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Insert the Pumpkin Pie CS into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere it to the Lunch Bag using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  2. Punch out the Moon using the Lemon Lolly CS and the 2-3/8” Circle Punch. TIP: Flip the punch over so you can ensure that you are punching the entire circle and not missing any parts. This way you don’t have to cut the cardstock wider than necessary. No cardstock waste. Since the Pumpkin Pie layer is textured and I want to make sure that the layers won’t fall off, I’ll using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Moon the Pumpkin Pie layer.
  3. Ink up the Haunted House using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp it onto the Gorgeous Grape CS. Cut it out using the corresponding die and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere it to the Lunch Bag using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Cut a piece of Adhesive Sheet using Paper Snips and adhere it to the back of the Basic Black CS. Lay the “Boo” Die on the Basic Black CS. Use the sticky parts of the Post-It-Notes to hold this frame in place as you run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Peel off the Adhesive Sheets backing and adhere it to the Moon.
  5. Lay the “Ghost” Die on the Basic White CS. Use the sticky parts of the Post-It-Notes to hold this frame in place as you run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere it to the Moon using Stampin’ Dimensionals
  6. Fill the Lunch Bag with treats, fold down and staple it closed.

This is to show you the proportion of the layer to the Trick or Treat Halloween Bag. Remember change the measurements to suit the bag that you are using. You want a little space along the sides. If the Pumpkin Pie layer has to be smaller to fit onto the bag, then put the Ghost, “Boo” and Haunted House closer together or even over lapping.
