Usually, you would use the Alphabet À La Mode Dies (160750) to cut out letters and attach them to a project. For this card I lined the letters up and cut out the word “SNOW” and used the cut out version instead. You can use the loose letters on another project. If you are planning to do this, attach an Adhesive Sheet (152334) to the Cardstock BEFORE you cut them out.
The Alphabet À La Mode Dies are very versatile. Using the cut out version technique, you could use these dies to make different words for different occasions, at the same time, using this card as a template.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Fold the Poppy Parade CS in half and crease it using the Bone Folder. This is the card base. The fold should be along the top.
- Run the piece of Snowy Scene DSP through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the largest die from the Countryside Corner Dies. Adhere it to the card base using Stampin’ Seal+.
- Lay the 3rd largest die from the Countryside Corner Dies on the Pool Party CS and “S”, “N”, “O” and “W” Dies towards the left hand side. Rip off the sticky part of the Post-It-Notes and use them to hold the dies in place and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. NOTE: Some of the centers will be totally cut out. Make sure you keep the centers and glue them back in place. In my case it is the center of the “O”.
- Run the Poppy Parade CS through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the 3rd largest die from the Countryside Corner Dies.
- Ink up the Penguin from the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad and stamp it off to the right hand side of the Pool Party CS cut out layer.
- Ink up the largest snowflake from the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set using Pool Party Ink. Randomly stamp it on the Pool Party CS. Re-ink the stamp every time.
- Put a little bit of the Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the Silicone Craft Sheet or any other plastic like a Becel Margarine Lid. Pick up the White Loose Snowflake using the Putty End of the Take Your Pick Tool and dip it into the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Don’t put too much on it. Lay it in place on the Pool Party CS and hold it there for a second. Let dry.
- Adhere the Pool Party CS to the Poppy Parade CS using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Don’t forget the center of the “O”.
- Cut a 14” piece of Pool Party Pompom 5/8” Ribbon using the Paper Snips Scissors. Tie it in a bow and adhere it to the card base using a Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim if needed.

Product ListI created the following cute Snowy Scenes Name Tag for the Stampin’ Up! Event that I went to in September. You can see all of the details in my latest newsletter that will come out on Tuesday Nov 19, 2024. You could re-create it to wear for an upcoming Holiday event or you could modify it and use it for a table name tag. This is a simple way to use the NANCY Layer as a template to get the most out of your products and ideas. I used the Name Tag and change the word from “NANCY” to “SNOW” and added Snowy Scene 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper and Ribbon and created the Snowy Scene Card Project. (As shown above)

NOTE: What I like about the Alphabet À La Mode Dies is there is a couple of the more popular letters in the set, so it makes it easier to spell countless words. For example there are 2 “N”. This makes it easier to spell my name. If the die set only had 1 of each letter, I would have had to use the Frame and the “N” & the “A”, run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, then line up and add the “N”, “C” and “Y” and run it through again. Don’t forget to keep the centers and glue them back in place for such letter as “A”, “O”.
