Happy Birthday Tag Punch Card

Happy Birthday!!! I wanted to make a special card that has a lot of sparkle and shine for your special day.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold the Basic Gray Card Base in half and crease it using the Bone Folder.
2. Adhere the Gold Foil Sheet to the Card Base using Stampin’ Seal+
3. Cut the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP in half so you have 2 pieces that measures 1-1/4″x 4-1/4″. You’ll notice that the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP has a different pattern on each side. Hold your finger about 1/4″ above the edge. Fold the corner down so it is even with the edge, but not touching. Crease it with the Bone Folder. The Simply Elegant Specialty DSP is a little forgiving, so if you don’t get it the way you want on the first try, straightened it out and try again. Repeat these steps but flip the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP over to reveal the other side before you fold down the corner. Adhere both pieces as shown, to the Card Base using Stampin’ Seal+. The photo I use the Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere the corners, but in the video I show a different way, by adhering the corners in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The second way adds a little more dimension to the Card…. pardon the pun, I couldn’t resist.
4. Ink up the Flower from the Elegantly Said Stamp Set using the Granite Gray Classic Ink. Stamp the image on Photocopy Paper OR Grid Paper and without re-inking the stamp, stamp it onto the Basic White CS. This will give a faded look to the Flower. Ink up the “Happy Birthday” from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set using Basic Gray Classic Ink and stamp it directly over the Flower.
5. Flip the Elegant Tag Punch over and insert the Basic White CS and punch out the stamped images. It is easier if you flip the Elegant Tag Punch over so you can see the image and make sure that you aren’t cutting something off.
6. Wrap the Simply Elegant Gold Trim as shown and ties it in a bow. Adhere it to the Card Base using the Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Decorate Envelope if you choose.
