INSTRUCTIONS
- Fold the Sweet Sorbet CS in half and crease it using a Bone Folder. The fold should be along the left hand side.
- Run the Dragonfly/Butterfly image through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Basic White CS and the coordinating Pretty Pop-Ups Die. This Die is a little different from most dies as it doesn’t cut out an image like the Sentiments Silhouettes Die does. This image will allow you to pop up parts of the image to give it dimension and reveal the colour under it. It is a little bit of magic.
- Colour in the centers of some of the Flowers using the Fine Tip End of the Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Write Marker. I found that it was best to do when while the image was still flat.
- You want to get the image to pop up. The easiest way I found to do this is to flip the Basic White CS over and starting in the middle. Begin to poke all of the Leaves, Flowers, Butterflies and Dragonfly parts from the back to the front, using the Piercer End of the Take Your Pick Tool.
- Cut a piece of Sweet Sorbet Baker’s Twine using the Paper Snips. Wrap it around the Basic White CS 2 times and tie in a knot. Adhere to the Basic White/Sweet Sorbet Baker’s Twine layer to the Sweet Sorbet Card Base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ink up the “Wishing You The Happiest Of Birthdays” sentiments using Sweet Sorbet ink and stamp it onto the extra piece of Basic White CS. Cut it out using the coordinating Sentiments Silhouettes Die and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine OR Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere it to the Basic White/Sweet Sorbet Baker’s Twine layer using Stampin’ Seal.
- Add the Sweet Sorbet Matte Decorative Dots using the Piercer End of the Take Your Pick Tool.
- Happy Birthday from me to you.
